Inclement weather update, 3 March 2022 3pm:
It is anticipated that the weather will continue to impact our local area over the coming days; therefore we ask that all students who can remain at home do so.
Our school will be open tomorrow, Friday 4 March, only to children of essential workers and children experiencing vulnerability.
We anticipate operating on a supervision-only model tomorrow and therefore encourage students to engage with learning at home. Senior students should continue to engage with the online learning options previously arranged.
While bus services will continue tomorrow (Friday 4 March), this again is primarily to assist with children of essential workers and children experiencing vulnerability.
Please be aware that absences due to emergencies and natural disasters will not be recorded on a student’s report card.
We will continue to provide information to families, via email and Facebook as it becomes available. There are also many excellent resources on the Queensland Government Get Ready Queensland website that serve as a checklist for our homes, travel arrangements and our personal safety, as well as the Gympie Regional Council Disaster Dashboard.
Thank you for your ongoing support and please stay safe.
