Casual Tuckshop Assistant - James Nash State High School

The opportunity

James Nash State High School has a paid opportunity available for a tuckshop assistant. This position is casual and ongoing. Flexibility to work varying hours is advantageous. 

Role description

The position may include (but is not limited to) the following tasks:

  • Food preparation
  • Cleaning
  • Serving students and staff
  • Cash register operation and handling
  • Uniform selling
  • Stock control/stocktaking
  • Catering organisation and preparation

Applicants must hold a current Blue Card to be eligible for this position.

The applicant should be honest, reliable, and an independent worker with good interpersonal and customer service skills. The applicant must be able to work within the guidelines of Education Queensland, the James Nash State High School P&C and auxiliary.

James Nash State High School – Book Keeper

 James Nash SHS (P&C & Auxililary) is recruiting for a casual book keeper, 4 hours per week on Fridays during the school term (8am – 12pm).

 

Role Description

Must have knowledge of: 

  • Bookkeeping program Cashflow Manager
  • Wages via Wages Manager
  • STP
  • Invoices - sales and purchases via Invoice Manager
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Superannuation
  • IAS/BAS
  • Westpac Online Banking
  • Awards/Wage rates
  • Preparing records for annual audit and deliver to auditor ASAP at end of financial year.
