IMPORTANT NAPLAN REMINDERS 

Dear parents and caregivers, 

The annual NAPLAN assessment is coming up once again and will be administered to students in Years 7 and 9 at James Nash SHS in Term 2. For the first time in our history we will be completing the testing online and students will use their laptops.

Parents who wish to withdraw their students from NAPLAN must complete the withdrawal form (click here) and return it to the office by the due date. Please note that if a student has not returned a withdrawal form by the due date, and is present on the day, they are required to sit the test. These are the rules as set out by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority.

The practice test is scheduled for the second day back of Term 2 (Wednesday 20 April) so if you wish to withdraw your student, please email the withdrawal form as soon as possible (or over the holiday period). All students not withdrawn prior to the practice exam will be required to sit the test.

Please note this browser is only supported on Mac and Windows devices. Students will also be emailed the instructions directly in the coming days.
