Learning mathematics at James Nash SHS creates opportunities and enriches the lives of all Students.
The Junior Curriculum is aligned to the Australian Curriculum at James Nash SHS and provides students with essential mathematical skills and knowledge in Number and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry, and Statistics and Probability. Furthermore, it develops the numeracy capabilities that all students need in their personal, work and civic life, and provides the fundamentals on which mathematical specialties and professional applications of mathematics are built.
The Senior Curriculum is delivered by QCAA approved work programs for Authority subjects (Mathematics A, B and C) and an Authority registered subject (Prevocational Mathematics).
