Excellence Programs - Academy of Creative Arts Program
The Academy of Creative Arts is an excellence program across all Arts disciplines. The core focus is to build student's confidence and provide a positive opportunity to develop collaboration and performance skills.
For an annual fee of $140, students have the opportunity to be immersed in quality arts experiences for a minimum of one semester.
Senior Pathways
James Nash State High School has established links with 5 universities to enable students to experience university courses as part of their senior curriculum, and gain early entrance into tertiary programs. Students directly benefit by developing their skills to engage in tertiary education and of the guaranteed entry into university courses. A longstanding connection with the adjacent Trade Training Centre (TTC) also provides students with opportunities to complete a range of Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications, work in industry one day a week and attain their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). Students and parents remark that enrolment in the program is highly valued and competitive. Many student leverage off their participation in the Trade Training Program to transition to full-time employment.
