Dear Parents and Caregivers,
James Nash State High School’s Year 11 students have been given the opportunity to attend the award winning one day RYDA Road Safety Education Program. RYDA is designed for 16-18 year olds as they begin to drive or ride in cars driven by their peers.
The program focuses on attitude and awareness with the aim of equipping young adults to stay safe on our roads. This program is not just for drivers, but young people as passengers too.
This RYDA program complements the schools’ commitment to promoting Student’s responsibility for their actions to influence positive and safe reactions of themselves and others.
Information regarding the one day RYDA excursion is detailed below;
Date: Monday 18th April 2016. Venue: Roadcraft
Time: Depart from school 9.00am - Return to school 2.55pm
Cost: $10.00 (includes bus fee and RYDA program) Please pay promptly to secure booking.
Dress: Students are to wear complete school uniform (including hats).
